Adding/Removing Officers from the Bank Account

              With local elections being held at your end of year meeting this month, many units will have a change in leadership. In addition to reporting new officers to Delaware PTA, the new officers (usually the President & Treasurer) will need to be added to the bank account and the outgoing officers will need to be removed from the bank account. PTA Leaders – As you begin to wrap up your fiscal year, please remember to do the following in your final PTA Board and Membership meetings and before your board members transition: *Hold elections! Delaware Students Among National Reflections Award Recipients

Congratulations are in order!! Two of our state Reflections winners were recognized at the National level! Upcoming Local Unit Elections

Its that time of year where local units are holding elections to bring on new officers for next year’s board.  We have received a few questions on the election and nominating process at the local level. Delaware PTA is here to provide guidance and assistance for all local units. Just as a reminder, Article Vi, Sections 2-4 of the local unit bylaws outline the local unit election cycle, term limits, and requirements for running for an elected position.
