Defining Parent, Family and Community Engagement

PTA families: As you know, strong family engagement is the cornerstone of PTA’s vision and mission. So we are excited to share that the Delaware Department of Education is working on developing a common definition of Parent, Family and Community Engagement. This definition will guide state support to schools and districts in improving family and community engagement. Delaware PTA will also be working with the Department on this initiative.
