We are looking forward to the upcoming Mission Possible State Convention and hope that you will join us for a day full of information, resource sharing and setting the direction of Delaware PTA for the 2015-16 school year.
This year’s focus, Mission Possible- Membership Matters, will celebrate parents and teachers as the backbone of public education in Delaware. This year we will have a workshop session for educators and one for PTA Leaders
Educators: Attend the “I got my SBAC Scores…Now What?”workshop facilitated by Platinum Sponsor, DSEA and receive clock hours.
Parent & Community Leaders: Attend the “Recruiting & Retaining Today’s PTA Member’s” facilitated by National PTA VP of Membership Deb Strauss.
Local Unit and Local Units Leaders can apply for one of the following awards. Winners will be announced at Convention!
Delaware PTA Male Engagement Award
In addition, several units will be awarded with Membership Achievement Awards!! Plenty of door prizes and give-aways!
This year’s keynote speaker is Sandra Hall, the 2016 Delaware Teacher of the Year
Attendees can visit the vendor fair for additional resources and information to support their work at the local level.

- Voting on Bylaws Changes presented at the September 2015 Board of Managers Meeting
- Electing new officers
- Voting on the 2015-16 Legislative Priorities

In accordance with local and state bylaws, all PTA units should be represented at Convention. Please ensure that your unit has registered at least one voting delegate to attend this event.
