It is that time of year again, when PTA members and local leaders will converge to represent their schools, PTA units and districts at the annual Delaware PTA State Convention.
This year’s theme is Mission Possible: Membership Matters: Learn * Engage * Network * Celebrate
We have a fantastic day planned for attendees. There will be a workshop for parent/community PTA members that will focus on membership recruitment and retention. National PTA VP of Membership Deb Strauss will give attendees tools, tips and strategies for engaging and increasing membership.
There is also an educator focused workshop facilitated by DSEA. Educators will hear about SBAC scores and what to do with them now that they are here!!! Attendees will also earn clock hours to turn into their district HR.
We are excited to have Delaware Teacher of the Year Sandra Hall as our Keynote Speaker this year. She has an inspiring message that is sure to resonate with parents, teachers and community members.
