The draft copy of the Delaware anti-discrimination regulation and model policy are now available for public review. We have included these drafts below. Please check our calendar for a list of dates/locations of the community conversations in which the public can provide feedback on the anti-discrimination regulation and model policy.
Delaware PTA strongly encourages all parents, students and teachers to attend one of the four community conversations to understand the draft regulations and the model policy. The approved regulations will be effective January 2018, and all districts in the state of Delaware will be required to develop and fully implement an anti-discrimination policy in accordance with the regulations by April 2018. It is critical that the student, parent and teacher voices are heard during these community conversations AND during the development and implementation process at the district level.
