A public-private partnership has launched a new education-focused website to inform Delawareans about the state’s new standards and assessments.   Being educated about school board candidates  is critical to advocating effectively for our students. PTA members are often the individuals with the most knowledge and awareness of their communities’ needs. It is important for PTAs to be involved in the process of educating communities and spreading awareness when it comes to school board elections. Cape Henlopen principal earns national award

  Jennifer Nauman, principal of Cape Henlopen’s Shields Elementary in Lewes, was one of seven principals in the nation presented this week with the Terrel H. Bell Award for Outstanding School Leadership this year at the 2013 National Blue Ribbon Schools Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C. She is the first Delaware principal to receive this award.
