Happy New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. The 2015 legislative session will begin on Tuesday Jan 13, 2015 as the 148th General Assembly convenes for the year.
The Delaware PTA Advocacy Committee has a lot of work to do this legislative session. We will hold our first meeting Wednesday Jan 28, 2015 at 6pm at the State PTA office 925 Bear-Corbitt Rd in the library of the Eden Support Center. Please join us as we map out our advocacy plans for the year.
Our agenda will also include a presentation on inequitable state funding for our schools and how we can work together to make meaningful impact on this issue. With education in Delaware at its most vulnerable, this is the time to change the status quo. Please join us, join the committee, and help make a difference.
