HB 50 Parent Opt Out ACTION ALERT – ACT NOW
HB 50 has been released from the Senate Education Committee and is now headed for the full Senate.
<div
As Delaware PTA and many of you have repeatedly stated, there is value in many of the other district and state level assessments. Many of these assessments actually provide the type of data and information that SBAC does not provide. We want these assessments. Right now we are seeing a very deliberate attempt from opponents of HB 50 to detract from the deficiencies in Smarter Balanced by circulating inaccurate and misleading information on the the efficacy of this assessment and shifting the focus to district level assessments and away from Smarter Balanced.
So we are asking each and every one of you to email the Senators and urge them to vote YES on HB 50 in its current form, with no additional amendments.
