Delaware PTA Position Statements are official documents outlining the opinion, will, or intent of the association to address national, state and/or local problems, situations, or concerns that affect children and youth and require action to seek resolution on the issue. Delaware PTA has adopted several position statements on a wide variety of national/state education, health, and safety issues. In addition, to our state level position statements on a variety of issues, our advocacy includes those position statements also adopted by National PTA.
Based on existing National PTA position statements, we have developed Delaware PTA Position on Regulation 225 We have also used this as an opportunity to submit commentary to the Delaware Department of Education to address areas not currently covered under any existing National position statement.
We strongly encourage all PTA members to submit individual feedback/comments directly to the Delaware Department of Education before the Dec 4th deadline at DOEregulations.comment@doe.k12.de.us
