Action For Healthy Kids Grant Deadline
Up to 550 schools will receive grant awards ranging from $500 to $5,000 to support increased breakfast participation. Eligible schools may apply to pilot or expand their School Breakfast Programs, including alternative or universal alternative. Deadline is September 16th.

A second round of conversations is planned for later in the fall to receive feedback on the draft plan. In December 2015, Congress reauthorized the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), the main federal law governing public education.
