Spring 2019 Board of Managers

Please mark your calendars and REGISTER for the Spring Board of Managers meeting. As part of your local unit compliance, every local unit President or their duly appointed alternate is required to attend the Board of Managers meeting. All registered attendees will receive a link to the agenda and other documents prior to the meeting.

The purpose of the Board of Managers meeting is defined in our bylaws – Article VIII, section 4 and states: “The Board of Managers shall direct the affairs of the Delaware PTA during the interim between annual conventions…”

During the BOM, you will receive financial, membership, advocacy and other reports from the State Board of Directors, vote on necessary business items*, as well as be able to share information with leaders from other units.

*The items for discussion and vote are: new legislative priorities, slate of candidates and proposed DPTA bylaws changes.
