5:00 Annual meeting and Dinner

The purpose of the annual meeting is to conduct the business of Delaware PTA and  hold elections. Local unit awards will be issued at the conclusion of state business.

Delaware State PTA Bylaws Article XV, Section 2b states:

The accredited delegates to the annual convention shall be:

 The President of each local unit,

 One (1) delegate for each twenty (20) members of each local unit in good standing as shown on the books of the State Treasurer,

 State Officers,

 Immediate Past President,

 Council Presidents,

 State chairmen of standing committees,

 State chairmen of special committees.

c. Each accredited delegate shall be entitled to one (1) vote on any matter coming before the Convention. No vote shall be cast by proxy.
