Please mark your calendars and click HERE to register for the spring Board of Managers meeting. Registration is required. Please register for each attendee individually.
As part of your local unit compliance, every local unit President or their duly appointed alternate is required to attend the Board of Managers meeting. VIP unit members are also invited to attend. All registered attendees will receive a link to the agenda and other documents prior to the meeting.
The purpose of the Board of Managers meeting is defined in our bylaws – Article VIII, section 4 and states: “The Board of Managers shall direct the affairs of the Delaware PTA during the interim between annual conventions…”
During the Board of Managers meeting, you will receive financial, membership, advocacy and other reports from the State Board of Directors, vote on necessary business items*, as well as be able to share information with leaders from other units.
The items to be discussed and voted on are: new legislative priorities, slate of candidates and proposed DPTA bylaws changes.
