“Resistance to High Stakes Tests Serves the Cause of Equity in Education”

Delaware PTA is pleased to announce that we have joined a coalition of national and state civil rights and education advocacy groups to bring awareness and education to the damaging effects that high stakes testing has on equity in education in our public education system.  The Network for Public Education’s Board of Directors, in conjunction with Jesse Hagopian recently released statements in response to the Leadership Conference statement opposing the opt out movement. You can read both statements here. Leadership Training for PTA Officers  Please join us on Tuesday, June 2nd for the 2015 Leadership Training at our state office located at 925 Bear Corbitt RD, Bear DE 19701   Sign-in begins at 5:45 pm and training will begin promptly at 6:00pm and end at 8:00pm We will meet in the library.
