April 28, 2018 Today at the voting body of the Delaware State PTA elected Julie Alvarez as the new State President during the 108th Annual State Convention. Alvarez succeeds Dr. Terri Hodges, who served as the State President for five years. A resident of the Red Clay School District, Julie served in various leadership positions with the North Star PTA before being appointed by Dr. Hodges to serves as Delaware PTA’s interim 1st VP earlier this year.
