Three Delaware schools are among 335 schools that U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan recognized today as 2015 National Blue Ribbon Schools, based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in improving student academic achievement. Because Congressional action on reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) is stalled, the US Department of Education offered states, on a rolling application basis, ESEA Flexibility through a conditional waiver process.
