Month of the Foster Child

May is National Foster Care Month, a month set aside to acknowledge foster parents, family members, volunteers, mentors, policymakers, child welfare professionals, and other members of the community who help children and youth in foster care find permanent homes and connections. National PTA  has created a  series of videos under the Every Child in Focus campaign. The videos are a short window into the lives of foster families and their supporters to provide a better understanding of their challenges as well as celebrate their successes. As the school year closes, most of you have either completed or are in the process of completing your board elections for the 2015-16 school year. 2015 New Office Leadership Training

Leadership Training for PTA Officers  Please join us on Tuesday, June 2nd for the 2015 Leadership Training at our state office located at 925 Bear Corbitt RD, Bear DE 19701   Sign-in begins at 5:45 pm and training will begin promptly at 6:00pm and end at 8:00pm We will meet in the library.
