Opt Out Town Halls

 Good evening, As you are aware, Delaware PTA has not taken a position on the parent opt out. We realize that families and community members have very valid concerns regarding the efficacy of the assessment, impact to students and teachers and overall implementation process. College Information Nights

COLLEGE INFORMATION NIGHTS OFFER HELP FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ FAMILIES   The Delaware Department of Education and Delaware PTA will host events in each county to provide college information to families of high school students. Students also are welcome to attend.   Parents and guardians will learn about the college application and enrollment process. Delaware college admissions representatives from two-year and four-year programs, financial aid professionals, a school counselor and Delaware Department of Education staff will answer questions, such as:   What is the college application process?
