Defining Parent, Family and Community Engagement

PTA families: As you know, strong family engagement is the cornerstone of PTA’s vision and mission. So we are excited to share that the Delaware Department of Education is working on developing a common definition of Parent, Family and Community Engagement. This definition will guide state support to schools and districts in improving family and community engagement. Delaware PTA will also be working with the Department on this initiative. Please join Delaware PTA in congratulating the winners of the 2017-2018 Reflections program!   2017 18 Reflections Winners  are listed for each category (Visual Arts, Dance, Film Production, Music Composition, Literature, and Photography), along with the winners of this year’s Theme Search contest.   We had a total of 150 fantastic submissions this year across all categories, and we are very grateful to the judges who reviewed the entries.  They certainly had their work cut out for them in choosing the final winners!
