Congratulations to H.B. duPont Middle School PTA for being 1 of 141 local PTA units across the country earning the 2017-2019 School of Excellence designation from the National PTA School of Excellence Program! This recognition celebrates the recipient’s year-long commitment to engage families in the school improvement process. The School of Excellence Program supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools to engage more families in student success and school improvements, while creating stronger family-school-community connections.
We are so proud of the work H.B. duPont PTA is doing. Earlier this year we reported several other national and state awards that H.B. duPont PTA received.
This is the first time Delaware has ever had a PTA unit earn multiple awards/grants within the same school year. The fact that H.B.duPont has achieved this incredible accomplishment is indicative of their ongoing commitment to the mission and vision of PTA in serving their students and school community. Each program that H.B. applied for is designed to enhance family engagement, stronger schools and an increased focus on Arts appreciation in the schools.
