Delaware PTA and The Beau Biden Foundation Partner to Offer Training

Delaware PTA is excited to partner with the Beau Biden Foundation to offer to the Light’s Stewards of Children program to our members. This essential training is designed to educate adults on how to prevent, recognize and respond responsibly to child sexual abuse. The session will also focus on mandatory reporting laws in Delaware.
This session is open to all PTA members. Attending educators will receive a certificate for completion of Evidence-Informed Training. Please join us on Tuesday, November 28th from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Stanton Middle School. All training materials will be provided for attendees. Please RSVP no later than 11/24/17
A founding purpose of National PTA and Delaware PTA is to promote safety for children and youth. We all share a responsibility in advocating for the protection of children who cannot protect themselves from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. The public must be informed about the causes, prevention, and reporting of child abuse.
