| Please join Delaware PTA in congratulating the winners of the 2017-2018 Reflections program! 2017 18 Reflections Winners are listed for each category (Visual Arts, Dance, Film Production, Music Composition, Literature, and Photography), along with the winners of this year’s Theme Search contest. We had a total of 150 fantastic submissions this year across all categories, and we are very grateful to the judges who reviewed the entries. They certainly had their work cut out for them in choosing the final winners!
The 2017-2018 theme was “Within Reach.” The winner in each category will be competing at the National PTA level. National PTA winners will be announced on May 1, 2018. You will be able to view the complete list at PTA.org/Reflections in the “Gallery and Awards” section after that date. These students’ accomplishments will be honored at the Reflections Award Ceremony on Saturday, April 28th at St. Georges Technical High School (time TBD). Their entries will be displayed for all to admire. The theme for next year (2018-2019) will be ”Heroes Around Me.” Some information is already available on the national PTA website at pta.org/home/programs/reflections. Additional rules and documentation should be available at delawarepta.org under the Reflections tab by June 2018, allowing students to work on their submissions over the summer if they choose. While Reflections is a PTA-sponsored program, it is also open to students who attend schools that do not have a PTA or an organized Reflections program.
