A PTA can be no more effective than its leadership. The Nominating Committee is a special committee
that holds the key to a successful PTA. The committee is responsible for presenting the best qualified
nominees for office.
The purpose of the nominating committee is to recognize and seek qualified nominees for the elected leadership of the PTA. The members of the committee, therefore, have a tremendous influence on the future of the PTA and should be selected carefully.
The nominating committee is seeking candidates for officers to the Delaware PTA.
The following positions are available on the even numbered years (according to the Delaware PTA bylaws Article X, Section 1b): Secretary, Treasurer and Regional Vice Presidents II, IV, VI, and VIII. Below are the nomination forms and nominee bio forms that should be filled out for each candidate. When submitting a name into nomination you should have the nominee’s permission.
Please fill out the forms and return them no later than September 12th, either via email to the Nomination Committee at firstname.lastname@example.org or mail them into the state office at 925 Bear Corbitt Rd, Bear DE 19701
