Delaware PTA 2018 Annual Convention

When: Saturday, April 28th, 2018 9:00 am – 4 pm

Where: St. Georges Technical Highschool

Delaware has some amazing schools doing amazing things! PTA members, school leaders & community partners throughout the state will come together to celebrate the great work taking place in Delaware public schools. Amid budget cuts and funding shortages, our PTA units and schools have risen to the occasion, determined to advocate for every child with one voice. Every PTA unit will have an opportunity to highlight their school’s success stories – whether the emphasis is on a specific academic program, student supports & services or educator support,  convention attendees will have an opportunity to see and hear some of the amazing work that has been taking place in our schools. Together we will celebrate your successes and discuss funding our future.

Don’t miss an opportunity to represent your school and share your story…

Begining in January members of Delaware PTA State Board will be reaching out to local units to get your success story and how funding has impacted your school. Your story will become part of a social media campaign leading up to the convention, so stay tuned for more details.

Additional details on the agenda, workshops and guest speakers will be available within the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye out for communications & updates from Delaware PTA and your Region VP. Make sure you follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin to follow our campaign using #ValueofPTA #Fundingourfuture #Convention2018
