Webinar:  Engaging Parents and Families on ESSA

As states work to implement the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), they are reaching out to and engaging a wide variety of stakeholders to get feedback and input throughout the process, from planning to implementation. In this work, states are looking for new and innovative ways to engage parents and families on this important, yet complex, topic. To assist, CCSSO is hosting a joint webinar with National PTA to explore key strategies states can use now and in the future to engage parents and families in meaningful ways. The webinar will include presentations from CCSSO, HCM Strategies and the National PTA. Join us at 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 9, 2016!

Presenters include:

Melissa McGrath, Director of Communications, Council of Chief State School Officers

Erica Felker, Senior Associate, HCM Strategists

Shannon Sevier, Vice President of Advocacy, National PTA
