DE Texting Campaign for HS Seniors & Parents

Last night more than 4000 DE high school seniors received a text messages with information on college applications. The students signed up during College Application Month. The Department of Higher Education Office will be sending 2-3 texts per month, focused for now on FAFSA completion and scholarships. High school seniors and their parents are invited to sign up for the messages. Parents and students can use opt-in numbers that they can text to. The Mighty Mike Basketball Bounce Out The Stigma Camp will be held on  Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Police Athletic League in New Castle, DE. This special day is designed to empower kids/clients age 8-20.  It’s FREE to all participants and designed for individuals who have epilepsy, autism, slow childhood development, social unease, peer mistrust, athletic anxieties, diabetes, ADD, adjustment and emotional difficulties, learning disabilities or self-esteem issues.
