Delaware PTA encourages parents and teachers to attend these meeting and to provide public comment on your experiences and thoughts for improving the IEP process and outcomes. This public comment is typically 3 minutes for each person making a statement and takes place at the end of the meetings. The remaining meetings of the IEP Task Force have been scheduled. All meetings will take place from 4:30 – 6:30pm.
There will be two locations available for each meeting, one in Dover and one in Wilmington. The Dover meetings will take place at the Collette Center, where the kick-off meeting was held. The Wilmington site is the Governor’s Conference Room in the Carvel building.
For all meetings we will be utilizing video-conferencing for one of the locations. The meeting dates listed below indicate which meeting location will be via video-conference.
September 23 – Lt. Gov. Denn will be at the Carvel location. Collette location will be via video-conference.
October 9 -Lt. Gov. Denn will be at the Carvel location. Collette location will be via video-conference.
October 23 – Lt. Gov. Denn will be at the Dover location. Carvel location will be via video-conference.
November 12 – Lt. Gov. Denn will be at the Carvel location. Collette location will be via video-conference.
November 20 – Lt. Gov. Denn will be at the Dover location. Carvel location will be via video-conference.
December 3 – Lt. Gov. Denn will be at the Dover location. Carvel location will be via video-conference.
